Leviathan Search aims to provide a useful and broadly representative search engine of human-generated content on the web.
We prioritise sites which self-certify that they contain no generative AI content other than as an object of or example for commentary on generative AI as a technology or social phenomenon; we will remove any other sites using generative AI materials from the index.
It's not that we hate auto-generated content, it's that we think generative AI is not actually "AI" in any meaningful sense and should not be used to replace actual humans in intellectual endeavors. And with how much electricity is consumed by generative AI systems, they don't make particularly good toys either.
You may certainly call us Luddites if you wish, we won't object. But go read up on what that means before you do.
